The 40th anniversary party was a great success. It was such a joy to see new and long time customers as well as current and previous employees have fun visiting and shopping.  Delicious treats were shared.

New canvases were debuted as well as gadgets. Our 2017 Classes were previewed and sign ups taken. 
The great gift tote was won by Christina C. Yeah!!!! 

Don’t forget to register for our November drawing- fun class for two and yummy lunch for two at Wallys- the next time you visit the shop.

Just a reminder that the Winter Retreat is January 28-30.2017 (Saturday-Monday).
Great class, lots of fun and terrific food await you. Robin needs your canvas to write

Fall is slowly coming to the desert as we all wait for some drop in the 95 degree
temperatures.
The shop has been really busy with our very successful Fall Retreat with Robin King
 followed by a terrific counted design class , Mystery of Life with Sue Reed. Robin
is back in January for our Winter Retreat 2017 and that class is full. Sue will be back
next October and we are working on the choice for class project which will be posted soon. 
We have wonderful trunk shows for your shopping pleasure! Labors of love has
unique Halloween canvases that are  just too hard to pass up like these standups.
I want to stitch them all!
      

Then there are the wonderful clip on birds to stitch.  My favorites of their new bird canvases
is the sparrow.

September is always a busy month at the shop- Fall Market, Fall Retreat and finishing is flowing in from all of you. We have a wonderful selection of autumn designs in rich golds and browns. For Halloween, there are whimsical spiders and witches . To complete the season, there are classic Thanksgiving pilgrims and turkeys. I  always like to stitch a seasonal piece , don’t you.
                        
Here is what I am working on for fall . The colors are different and I am having great fun experimenting with stitches, beads and threads. Not sure of the background stitch as yet. I am waiting on some ribbons and beads to arrive. Look for this as a store model in the next month or so.

                      

Fall Market is next week. I worked really hard on new designs for the shop including Southwest, holiday and travel themes.

                

                    

These new designs will be available after Sept. 19 . They will also be on the website online store for you to shop at home.

Can you believe it is September!!!! I am not sure where the summer went and I still have 
things on my summer list that are not completed . Our Fall Retreat is at the end of the month and
Robin will be back in January 2017 . Spaces are limited to 10 so everyone gets significant time with Robin.
