Star Dance is Margaret Bendig’s latest creation. Star Dance is a study in the use of a single color using different threads, stitches, direction of stitches and the reflection of light to create “dancing stars”. The original is stitched with Soie d’Alger silk and some specialty threads. The center star is a revolving set of patterns with metallic threads to add to the definition of the stitches.The background of the design is composed of many different star patterns using two values of blue silk with the addition white Sparkle Rays. This design is offered as a 24 or 18 count canvas with silk threads. The design size is 10″ x10″ on 18 count and 7.5″ x7.5 “on congress ground.

Now summer is here, we have a great selection of portable projects for you to take on your travels.
Luggage tags and credit card holders make great gifts and are a quick stitch. You can personalize them with just the right canvas.

There are compacts with either an eye canvas or lips canvas in stock as well. The compact is well made and  would be a functional yet pretty gift.

We have a great selection of box canvases. Mermaid, designer, floral, holiday as more canvases are in stock.

If you need help with a project, we have a great group class on Wednesdays. Everyone works on their own project so you learn from their projects as well as your own.  Stitch and Chat from 1-4 on Tuesdays is a great way to get stitching time and make new friends.
