June has arrived so summer is here and that means hot weather as well as my reminder to get the new designs off to the painters so they return in time for the Fall Needlework Show in September.
I have started working on the Fall classes and new models for the store. Pumpkins are a favorite of mine so I have chosen this canvas.
It is just 10 x12″ and has lots of “character” so I have chosen fun threads, beads and other embellishments. No doubt things will change as the pieces evolves. I keep a notebook close at hand to jot down the stitches and threads so I can create the stitch guide when I am done. It is always fun to start a new design.
Don’t forget Stitch and Chat on Tuesdays, Thursdays from 1-4pm and Saturdays from 11-2pm.This is a greatway to meet new friends, chat and stitch- never mind escaping the triple-digit temperatures!
